FDA INDEMNITY INHOUSE SCHEME
The FDA Trust indemnifies members against appropriate claims, managed by the board of trustees.
Coverage Requirements:
Dental Practitioner members must meet conditions and pay premiums for indemnification under the Medical & Dental Practitioner Act 2010.

- Employment status affects coverage.
- Proper membership category is necessary.
- Scheme’s general conditions must be met.
- Covered activities must be health and social care services approved by the FDA.
To benefit from the FDA Indemnity Scheme, members must:
- Undergo appropriate training.
- Adhere to recognized best practices.
- Comply with the law and FMDC Code.
Membership Requirement:
FDA indemnity cover is exclusive to FDA members, not extending to non-members or those ineligible due to employment status.
